Wendy Walker Davis is a graduate student at the University of North Texas, enrolled in their inaugural Communication Design Pedagogy program. Founded in 2001, this program is in select company as one of the first in the nation to pioneer the curriculum for the education of graphic design instructors.

Born in Highland Park, Illinois, Ms. Walker Davis earned her BSA in Graphic Design from the University Of Wisconsin-Madison, in 1994. She is a decorated veteran of the War in Kuwait, where she served as an army medic in the 477^th Ambulance Unit. Prior to University, she attended prep school at the United World College in Swaziland, Southern Africa.

Ms. Walker Davis is a freelance graphic designer in her own firm, walker creative, which was founded in 1994 and is currently based in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Her list of clients includes the State of New York, Pricellular Inc., State of Wisconsin, and Bemis Inc. Prior to walker creative, She served as creative director for GPA Inc., a specialty paper company in Chicago, Illinois, and as the Art Director for The Daily Telegram, in Superior, Wisconsin.

Wendy Walker Davis currently resides in McKinney, Texas and is attempting to adapt to the native Texas culture of past and present by learning how to two step and play golf. She is married to Scott R. Davis and has two children Michael 7 and Madison 4.
